Membership Rights and Responsibilities:
Membership Rights:
- Tune in for Membership Perks and Benefits as we continue to grow.
- In-Person Sponsorship and Advertising:
- Sponsorship and advertising opportunities are available but require approval from the appropriate committee or Board of Directors.
- Members cannot use the “Her Hive” name to endorse products or services without prior approval.
Member Responsibilities:
- Uphold Her Hive’s values of respect, inclusivity, and collaboration.
- Attend events regularly
- Regular Meetings:
- Frequency: Members of Her Hive meet on a weekly basis, with multiple meeting opportunities throughout the week. Meetings will typically be held once or twice per week on (days of the week), with additional meetings scheduled as needed.
- Agenda: The host will provide a brief introduction or icebreaker for community building. Following the introduction, the group will have an open discussion. Meeting topics will be fluid and member-led, with the goal of providing mutual support and building community. The facilitator will help guide discussion and ensure all members have an opportunity to share.
- Procedure: Meetings will be facilitated by a host on a rotating basis. The facilitator will keep discussions on track and ensure all members have an opportunity to participate. Members are encouraged to actively listen to others. Discussions will be kept confidential within the group unless otherwise agreed upon. Meetings will generally last 90-120 minutes.

- Children at Events:
- Parents or caregivers are responsible for the well-being, safety, and behavior of their children and guests at all times during Her Hive events.
- Refrain from attending events when you or your child are sick to prevent the spread of illness (see Sick Policy)
- Help and encourage children to clean up after themselves at the end of playgroups or events.
- It is up to the discretion of the host or board members to mediate if the above is not being met.
- Sick Policy:
- Please keep you and your children home from events if:
- Fever is above 99 degrees
- Fever in the past 24 hours
- Persistent cough, wheezing, vomiting, diarrhea, or eye discharge
- Diagnosed with a communicable illness
- Please keep you and your children home from events if:
- Respectful Conduct:
- Maintain a respectful and supportive environment. Derogatory or harmful remarks about members of Her Hive are not tolerated.
- Openly accept and appreciate differences among members. Failure to do so may result in revocation of membership.
- Conflict Resolution:
- While Her Hive doesn’t mediate personal disagreements, treat all members with respect. If conflicts arise, members are encouraged to communicate directly with each other to find solutions.
- Complaints and Revocation:
- The Membership Committee Director may revoke membership for misrepresentation, harassment, or disrespectful behavior towards other members, as determined through a complaint review process.
- It is up to the discretion of the host and/or board members to mediate if the above is not being met.
Termination and Suspension:
- Voluntary Termination
- A member may voluntarily terminate membership by notifying the Membership Committee Director.
- Involuntary Suspension and Termination
- The Membership Committee Director may request immediate suspension or termination of a person’s membership for violations of any provision of these bylaws. Complaints about any member’s behavior brought to the Membership Committee will be reviewed and may result in immediate suspension or termination. If a member is suspended or terminated, the member will be notified in writing.
